Responsible for managing and monitoring the accounting operations for this mid-sized company, you’ll be relied upon to identify and oversee areas for potential improvement. Reporting directly to the CFO and CEO, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, while providing guidance, training, and support to your team.
- Provide leadership through the development and continuous monitoring of a financial strategy and related metrics.
- Review monthly financial statements and conduct analysis prior to review and discussion with senior management.
- Strong involvement in annual budgeting and planning, variance analysis and correction.
- Ensure internal controls are well documented and identify areas for improvements.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Previous controllership experience
- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance
- CPA designation
- 7+ years of progressive experience
- Technically strong in financial reporting
- Strong leadership skills and people management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
